Can my little one problem-solve?
When children are facing conflicts with others or experiencing intense emotions, they don't always know what to do. They require prompts to help them understand the best way to handle the situation. Usually, that prompt is Mum or Dad. :D
You can create a visual cue for resolving problems or big feelings with your little ones. 👉 "BIG" problems are situations that are scary, dangerous, etc. If the child has a BIG problem, they should be encouraged to tell an adult.

Brainstorm with your little one a list of possible solutions for small to medium problems.
On a pie-shaped chart, write one solution for each slice. Let your little one draw or create symbols.
Make sure your little one is taking the lead in creating the wheel.
